Thats going to kill & stop people doing low cost auctions.
I know that I am now thinking twice of getting rid of lower cost items.Where sometime I had loads of low cost auctions.

the price increase is due to the "increased traffic" but. there will be less sales as people may find it no longer worth it to sell there cheaper items, and there fore reverse their "increased traffic" trademe are a bunch of wollies, what happened to the original platform of Tm! cheap auctions and easy purchasing!! They are far from what they used to be, and are no better for it!

Yup, I myself are selling more stuff on sella than here especially for cheap items. I think once the mass moves over and people see the light then trademe will be worried. I agree ginga it simply will not be worth selling cheap items.

hey thats what it says in the article. they only mention GST afterwards, but really. gst shouldnt effect them THAT much they arnt the ones buying and selling our crap, they are only hosting an auction process, sure that requires customer service, servers, power, and CEO's going on golf trips, but really. they already leech sooo much from us they can easily absorb the gst increase imo

I dont get it. My current auction has a few photos and they are CHARGING me everytime i relist it for "multipul photos" WTF, how am i supposed to sell my stuff with out an acurate descriptive picture! the pictures should be used in the auction for FREE!
