Have the old 245 and wanting to get an elec fan setup on the radiator so I can get rid of the belt driven one. What you guys recommend and how about the size! Its the original radiator in there. It going to be painted within the next two weeks depending on weather so gotta finish it off so I can go cruising. http://tinyurl.com/6z22nja Any of these any good!

give Bradley a call at hemi performance in Richmond.(035448106) He runs a radiator shop as well, so I'm sure he will know what he is talking about rather than just selling you anything he has. Check chrysler car parts Nelson listings and you will find stuff they advertise. You could post a question there if you don't want to phone.

what is wrong with the original fan that the car maker put there and has worked well for 35 years ! keeping the engine cool and keeping air passingoverthe exhaust manifold to prevent it from crackingwith excess heat

agree electric fans are often as effective & cool as a monster tach & often less efficient in cooling than the original kit

i know what you mean. the fan didn't even have a shroud & it's ability to pull air in heavy traffic was crap. you might get lucky & find a jappa fan/shroud combo that fit's your radiator from pickapart otherwise buy the biggest single fan with curved blades you can fit.

maybe cause he wants to and he can who says oem equipment has to stay and is any good specially when we are '35' years down the technology path and things have changed. People can mod their cars if they like. There is always one who thinks car manafacturers know best. Which is absolute bullshit even they get it wrong sometimes or not to perfection.

ya can get pushers and pullers so if ya want to hide it in front you may want to consider this I would not recommend just reversing the polarity of a fan as it becomes less effective have a look at the cfm rating you wont know what the cfm of the original is you will never be able to make ya car run to cold as the thermostat dictates the temp of the engine so bigger is probably better or two smaller ones as mentioned before. You could quite possibly just t a switch in thermo housing or bottom tank pretty easy to wire. I could run ya through that if ya not sure. Oh and most aftermarket ones comewith clips so ya can mount them easy as.

Cheers man that is the kind of answer I am looking for. Was thinking of front mounting so the engine bay looks cleaner! The davies craig website reckons I will need two fans but unsure
