Yer. motorbike people are all good people.
We talk to each other and help each other.
You'd never see car people doing that.

Was probably "hush money". Didn't want you blabbing to people that he was on the back of your bike. Wait till he reads this. He'll be coming back to collect $299.95.

Worth EVERY penny. Dealing with officers and tow vehicles is such a PITA. What happened to "she'll be right" attitude and towing hunks of crap out of the drain for a couple beers. I do it and have some shits and giggles with mates when we are pushing another turd out of a drain at 1am.

A few years ago I snapped a bottom holding arm on my suspension before bursting into flames (cv grease on manifold) and crashing through a fence cause the rear wheel went to 45 degrees. I casually put it out and had some laughs with a guy that was watching while I waited for a ride to get my trailer.

3 hundred bucks - I hope you didn't accept it. Bikers help each other out of a kindred spirit, not out of a possible monetary gain.

Hush money.
What was his patch name.

pattym1, Feb 1, 9:30am
yup.we were stopped on the side of the road on saturday.nothing major.guy and his wife pulled over in their car to see if we needed help.bikers themselves.

Picked a born again biker of the road in Masterton a year or so back on his brand new trumpy he was moaning and whinging while I explained to the ambos where we were. then he had a go at me so I told him to shut up or I would stand on his leg (broken) he rang all his friends who turned up, stand around ooh aaring didnt offer to help him so I buggered off and left him with his friends he couldnt even say thanks.

pixie_autumn, Feb 1, 3:24pm
And to check out the sexy women bikers.

the_chooky, Feb 1, 5:21pm
Did you knock him off his bike with your Landcruiser.

solarboy, Feb 1, 7:18pm
Here's a Harley left to fend for itself after the rider bailed and had to leave it unattended.

No chook I found him lying on the middle of an intersection, I had been at a bridge out in the country checking the river for a spot of fishing, he went past rather fast, found him on the way home, born again didnt realise the road changed about 4 years ago.

Yep, looks like they changed the link I posted but if you go to jmma's one then click on "Burnt bike a hazard' over to the right it'll give a local "expert"'s opinion of the aftermath. Seems the Harley was left lying around at the scene for a few hours.
