Im trying to locate aMini that I sold several years ago, It was a project that had taken myself and my father a long time and alot of effort to build. It was very distinctive with writing on the back window that read DRIVE A FORD! ID RATHER PUSH MY MINI! it was a bright green/yellow with a white roof it had mags on it and also a stainless front grill that more resembled a cheese grater. I sold it on trademe using an old account, it was collected from Rotorua in the back of a Ford Transitand taken to Gisborne.
Id like to get in touch with whoever owns it now and if possible buy it back. cheers

Hey there - Your insurance company may be able to provide you with the old plate number! Also what year was it sold!
Failing that, if you can do some image searches and find something roughly the same colour, and some mags the same, I can have a squiz through my pics from the various national events. Long shot though, plenty don't come to Nats.

well this one was at the nats in 06 in Auckland I would put up a few pics if I knew how Just prior to selling it I took the personalised plates off it (GONADS) and put on a standard plate but typical me lost what the new plate number, Im hoping a few people from Gisborne will read this and be able to help

They do send to be transient lil' buggers.people buy them cause their first car was a mini or they learned to drive in one.then they remember what a pain in the arse they are and sell them.

GONADS was the plate on it in Aucklandand i sold it in 08 i think . from memory the guy that bought worked with stainless steel

Go to the "My Trade Me" tab on this page.Go to photos and uplift/ transfer an image onto Trade Me's site.As long as you still have a pic on your own computer of course.
Click again on "My Photos".
Click on it to view, then copy and paste the whole internet link from the top of the page http://wwww blah blah blah into your next message on here.Then anyone can see the pic.

Yeah that was at the show n shine then later that day we did a big run through the Waitakere ranges , which happens to be a brilliant road that any mini owner would love to drive on

Im sure Ive seen it (the grille is pretty obvious & my missus commented on the 'horrible mirrors' like she'd just taken off hers) at a show in Manukau city a year or more ago, get hold of Minibitz in West Aucks & show them, theyll probably know more

It seems quite interestin that quite a few people know this mini, Ive had texts from people that seem to remember seeing it different places around the country
