Seatbelt not clicking

My Drivers seatbelt is not clicking correctly,it locks in place and works alright when pushed in hard, but not as easily as it should and used to.Is there any easy way to clean it / fix it as the car is going in for a warrant later this week and i am concerned it may fail.

it's prob just filled up with dirt etc. needs a lube. spray into the slot as much liquid lubricant as you desire eg. wd40, crc.
KY not recommended :)

I have sprayed in CRC, didnt work then tried Window cleaner (as this is what a blog recommended) but neither worked, but not sure that i did it correctly ifit has not worked.

Take it to a garage and get them to blast it with a compressor. That worked for me with my old car.

like, til it's oozing black stuff out the other end of it! and moving the push thingee in & out! Prob you have. I use gallons of WD40 in the workplace and it usually frees up everything eventually.
Ok, end of advice. Good luck :)
