Sold a very nice primera to a guy yesterday and he called me 15 mins later for help. Said he 'dented it' and can I come out and help him. I got there, and couldn't believe what I saw. He had lost it on a roundabout, and was sitting on an electrical transformer with the front end ripped off. Total write off, with the guy sitting inside and live wires everywhere. Poor young guy wanted to know how much it would cost to 'fix the bumper'.
30 mins earlier, he had declined insurance at the bank when he was drawing out the money. Said he would do it when he gets home. He never made it unfortunately.

I was concerned at his driving skills (or lack of) on the test drive. Thank god I went with him. He had just arrived from the Ukraine and apparently drive on the other side there. I repeatedly asked him if he was alright to drive home and warned him to take care due to the wet conditions. He told me and the police that he took the roundabout at 50k's per hour and lost it. He was very lucky he wasn't fried to death in the car, as he knocked out the power supply to Pt Chev. Insane.

Remember my non-AMG 'AMG Diamante' (lol's at the debates over whether it was or not on here hahaha)

Anyhow . Similar thing happened within 30 minutes guy who bought it had (somehow) managed to reverse into a wall causing it to need a rear quarter section cut out, welded repair and repaint - luckily he HAD insured himself but i am sure the insurance company were "oh my god, not so quickly!" when the call came in 2 hours later lol

I looked at buying an EtypeFHC that had rolled5 miles from dealers yard & was up for tender ,seems soon as he had it on open road had put the boot into it looked like he had left wheels in the gravel verge . Took panelbeater to look at it butwould have needed new roof & bonnet, too much for me. Then there was the story of the boy whodid bigsmoke up ontyre coforecourt on brand new tyres , & was back in for new set .

there was a guy in the late 80's who bought a honda 900 ( i think ) from a dealer, left the shop pulling a big wheelie and lost control the bike plowed through a shop front window less than 100m away. he was sitting on his backside at this stage . lol

Actually ---a then good mate of mine bought himself a sparkling newK4 gixxxer thou from Haldanes a couple of years back -they used to be in Mt eden rd and the first 8 feet of the road is painted green for a bus lane.
He pulled outa Haldanes pleased as punch on a damp day gave it a bit of throttle and BAM he was sitting on his backside with his bike damaged with less than 50 METERS on the clock. .

I had a lady hire a car off me, while her car bought from the factory in Germany (a VW beetle) in the 70's (from memory) was in to have repairs from being rear-ended. She had only ever driven the one car, but until the previous day, had never had an accident. She drove out of our forecourt, round the corner and wrote my rental off! Must of been off our site for less than 60 seconds. Bugger!
