Manual window winders are called regulators (don't know why, but there you go)
You can see it's missing in the picture.

Manual window regulators are quite rare in that model. Will be quite hard finding a replacement unless you pay big bucks and go new genuine.

Actually --it looks to me like the window switch panel is missing. So I suspect more like the electric reg has busted and/or the switch has worn out and not been replaced--I wouldn't be suprised to see the ol block o wood in behind the trim -Hmm the left side is manual though.

nah its manual , the other bit thats missing is the plastic wrap around handle

Cos in "old speak" they regulated the height of the window.

Window regulator.
