Recently went to shell Morrinsville: "Hey mate, Do you have a tyre pump!" Reply: "Umm, yeah, sorry, staff only" Me: "Pardon!"
Him, "Yep" Me and dude at counter looked at each other and said "Aye What!", Counter Jockey: "Yep". I abused the shizer out of the attendant, as did the other bloke. I will never go there again.

Can happen if anyones over tightened the spark plug previously, I have had it happen on a alloy head.

carkitter, Feb 5, 11:01pm
Vapour burns far better than liquid, thats why fuel is atomised by the carb or injectors.

It gets friggin hot where I live mrfixit and I have seen the result of car fuel tank being filled right to the brim.leakage out on the street and cig butt chucked away by a passer by.boom end of that car! Happened several years ago in the main street of my town.

Had a Camaro years ago that popped a plug out. One hua of a noise, just about crapped myself. Obviously was loose and had worked its way undone.

Was driving a 4WD TK Bedford topdressing loader years back - was heading out early on morning (still dark) when the front driveshaft broke, so I climbed underneath to inspect the damage and the first 2 feet of the bloody exhaust was glowing red hot!

With 4000 ltrs of Av-gass sitting not too far away, I scorched out from under there pretty bloody quick, and sat on the opposite side off the road until it was deemed safe to climb back under and remove the dead shaft.
