yeah palmy, very one sided race against Stratford. Stratford didn't even have a car circulating 2/3 way thru the race, and all palmy cars were running strong.they should have been up against last years champs Nelson but the palmerston officals found a reason to take some points off them after they made it to the finals and relegated them to third.

Wasn't there but from what I heard Palmy didn't want to play with Nelson again this year so local officials may have seen something that nobody else saw. Maybe it's just about time the teams champs moved onto somewhere else for a while.

Ahhh good ol' teams champs, always a bit of controversy. Glad to hear my hometown team took it out yet again!

It needs to be run like the Stockcar teams champs, winning teams hosts the next teams event. If the club is able to field a team then they should be able to handle the event.
As for the Nelson teams points be relegated, thats the officials fault for not penalising on the FIRST lap where the 'cheat' happened. Which apparently was a Nelson car ending up on the grass and passing the rest of the cars, the infield was slush, ever car that ended up on it was struggling to move. Mistakes made on all sides, but the officials really didn't call it down the middle in my opinion.
