Is it possible to bolt a turbo (small standard WRX turbo) onto a standard EJ20 block if I get thicker head gaskets and change the injectors, fuel pump, computer etc and only run like 5-7psi ish due to being high compression! Cheers.

Anythings possible but it would be a complete waste of time when the bottom end shits its pants. Just buy a Wrx and save yourself the hassle and inevitable expense.

I heard that the bottom ends are the same, I cant remember how authentic the source was unfortunately

If you get thicker head gaskets to decompress you can run the normal 8 -10psi possibly more. The bottom ends do vary,to a point standard vs sti,=standard rods vs semi forged. I would run 8psi on a standard block without decompressing it.
