with a wife like that Id say 15 cans is pretty good, she stated to start with 15 cans over the course of a day, and instead of answering the question "are we talking everyday!" she leaves it to make him look like an alkie, I could hardly blame the guy.

Mate gets through that on the way to & from work & at lunch time . Gets on the wine with missus at night , she gets through3 litres of it a day . Both confirmed alkysshes had detox twice , AAetc etc .

I used to be a student and 15 standard drinks in one sitting was quite a bit, but that was only over 4-5 hours and was only Thursday-Saturday, so binge drinking. But every day! Calm down!

15 cans is way too much.Thats nearly 5 litres.I doubt if I would even drink 5 litres of water in a day.Probably more like 2 litres if I tried. Fortunally I dont drink any alcohol and never have (apart from a sip and its discusting and thats they way its going to stay) in my whole 37 years so far. I think your Husband needs some outside help as I and a few people here think 15 cans is a bit excessive for mainly his health and well being,family,your budget.Think of all the things you could buy,save for or pay off.He could still have a couple a day and be much better although he may have to give it up completely to give up the addiction.

Fordluva, Looks like this has hit a soft spot with you or why would you start this thread! At least she cares enough for him to try and get some insight into if he is within a normal limit orkilling himself through damaging his organs. My dad drank far too much and died. Good for her is what I say! Over drinking is very short sighted.

A large inheritance . live in a dump , beat up cars, just love to drink . BTW in 80 s used to go to pub on sat afternoon & put away5 jugseasy , was same for mates too .

Iv gota mate who runs a succesfull bricklaying team and he would drink 2 dozen heinys per day during the week and easy 3 doz on Friday ,Saturday and Sunday. He has been doing it for 30 years. He had a liver test a while ago and his results were just slightly above normal.
