phenomenal effort - 1220 hours of work !

@ 24 hours per day that's pretty much 51 days non stop working

@ 8 hours per day it's 153 days work !

brummoi, Dec 25, 8:29am
that is very impressive!

taipan4, Dec 25, 8:40am
beats watching tv

stevo2, Dec 25, 5:32pm
What fuel would that be running on!

gammelvind, Dec 25, 5:51pm
What a brilliant effort.

mugenb20b, Dec 25, 9:18pm
Even if you connect the fuel supply to the engine and add spark plugs and ignition system, it would never run, as the crank sprocket needs to be half the size of the cam sprockets. In this case they are all the same size. However, he's done a brilliant job constructing something like that from scratch. I wouldn't even know where to start if I attempted something like that.

thejazzpianoma, Dec 25, 9:25pm
I need to watch the video again but I wondered if it was running on compressed air!

ozz1, Dec 25, 9:29pm
fantastic.

richard198, Dec 25, 10:24pm
I think so since not a carburettor or similar in sight.
I also wondered about no bearing shells etc. and long it would last.
But with no internal combustion; much less heat!
Very impressive though!

thejazzpianoma, Dec 25, 10:29pm
Yes, and as muganb20b pointed out the odd camshaft ratio supports this too. I get the impression that guy would do nothing by accident so re-configuring the camshaft with 1:1 gearing to make a 2 Cycle air powered engine would make a lot of sense.

mrfxit, Dec 25, 11:11pm
Clues.

Static rev's
no exhaust smoke
No starter
no carb
Single feed line on the back
Exhaust pipes don't change color
Valve rockers shift in & out of balance /sequence randomly with no change in engine note
No spark plugs

BRILLIANT workmanship

A suggested use might be for the ''older women's" marital aid.

http://www.youtube.com/watch!v=SeUMDY01uUA while we're on the subject of scale model 12 cylinder engines and for those that have'nt seen this awesome piece of workmanship

zak410, Dec 26, 5:10am
Thanks for that it is FANTASTIC !

Meh, compressed air does not an engine make.
Try a fully functional miniature v12 for size

trogedon, Dec 26, 6:53am
There seems to be a simple fuel into the cylinder arrangement under the airfilter. It doesn't seem to be able to be able to be adjusted though - so only a one speed engine.

richard198, Dec 26, 7:48am
How would it be atomized!
As above posters also point out; no ratio with cams so valves going continuously!

mardomnic, Dec 26, 8:15am
Would this be the engine for the future cars etc.

ralphdog1, Dec 26, 8:30am
Only if it runs on water.

trogedon, Dec 26, 6:27pm
Idon't know.

Just wish my net was going properly so I could re-visit the video.

No one is going to step in and criticize a pushrod engine!

"This is gay lol! pushrods lol1! Get a mean az vtech twin turbs bro. Dinosaur lol!1"

kazbanz, Jul 12, 7:55am
Maybee I've got old eyes but for me the clue was that there diddn't seem to be piston rings. My bet would be that it runs on lubed compressed air for now.
