i have a vs ser2 that started as just a miss under load then turned into a continual miss and now is backfireing as well have done a comprestion test and all lungs are over 200psi running real ritch has a heat problem as well and is running hot, it has a new water pump and a cooler thermastat but is still getting hot when running can unplug injector for #2 and dosnt change a beat so must be problem with #2 but if it was the injector was jamed open how is it backfireing any idears

Check your plugs and leads for corrosion. If not, coilpacks or DFI modual.
Fairly common fault, have had this happen on both of mine.

new plugs and leads on aswell sorry forgot to menchion
if it was the crank angle sensor that would lead to back fireing looking it the intake chambor its only the #1 or #2 or both that are backfireing but shouldent they all be back fireing! also it has the running rich problem now that could be related! and makeing it run hot!
