Damn that surely is ugly! You can bet your left one that it's all plastic "chrome" too. Reminds me of those ugly Subaru Impreza models they did like that.

It is meant to look like a Vanden Plas Princess, in the 90s Japanese car nuts discovered these and started importing them (into Japan) in some numbers.

Come up to Auckland and you'll see them everyday, only steered by Indians or Asians who seem to be attracted to all hideous JDM spec imports including these things. They are a popular Indian family car.
