cant seem to find whats going on here. ive searched for a vac leck, but cant find anything, have turn the timing up a bit to help, but whenever i use the gears to slow down it seems to stall just as im about to stop! but if i but her in neutral and slow down it seems to work, but rember i have turned the timing up a bit so she revs a wee bit higher now. any idears on what to look at!

Clutch need adjusting/bleeding! Does it try to go forward if you start it in gear with your foot on the clutch!

clutch is all good. she is also alot more smoky on start up than use to be. all this has only just started this week. bout to have a look at fuel filter.

I am assuming petrol engine, check the solenoid on the carb; point gap if it has points.

yep petrol, doent have points, will check the solenoid on the carb, just heading down road to get fuel fliter oil fillter as well.

change the fuel filter n oil filter, still smoky, (white) and still stalling

Check the little dash-pot on the carb that lifts the idle for the air=con etc. If it is poorly adjusted, or not working, it can cause your problems.

Try disconnecting your brake booster hose and blocking it off, may be a leak in there, check your brake fluid also.

i will let you know in the morning jmma, havnt found the leak yet. looks like just driping when runing at the mo, not to much though.pain to as shops are shut mon/tuesday. and im ment to be going away wednesday
