you get when you re-register your vehicle! I'm not talking about the personalised plates, just the standard plates that are issued as usual: ie EFP765 , ADF334. LWU786 etc, can you choose what number plate is fitted to your vehicle! Or is it just a random process and they issue whatever they (LTSA) like! Thanks in advance.

for our fresh import they were 3 letters 2 numbers so i was keen on double matching numbers then he rumaged at the cert place in the pile 'o' plates and found single number 7.sweet
when i bought my vl commie years back had personallised plates on it and seller went to nz post (!) to get regular ones ACU 666~since been dereged.

Last time i did it had a choice of plates that they actually had in at the time .
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
