List the questions. You never know, many could possibly be answered.Other than that, why don't you simply contact a certifier!

listing question on here usually gets me laughed at. im a bit of a dreamer, lol. my question is, how can i get side exit exhaust tips on my 96 supra. the rules say it cant exit directly under the passenger cabin. if thats true, if they exit an 1/2inch from the side skirt, they should be fine right!

From memory you can have side exits on 2 door cars so long as they exit 300mm past the last edge of the doors. Someone will correct me If Im wrong

desertcolt07, Feb 22, 9:44am
i see, that's helpful, thank you.

skyline_guy_r34, Feb 22, 9:48am
This guys got the same idea. 1 foot is 305mm so thats 2 votes for 300mm past opening doors

Why would you want to!.

desertcolt07, Feb 22, 10:13am

i got a valiant hardtop two door v8and have them sticking out just in front of the rear tyres never had a problem with wof and it was vined with them there

desertcolt07, Feb 22, 10:25am
cool, is there a big gap between them and the door opening!

smac, Feb 22, 11:55am
The right answer was already given: go talk to a certifier. My understanding of the LVVTA docs is that they can exit pretty much anywhere on a certed vehicle, but I'm not a certifier so my understanding doesn't mean squat.

If you shorten the pipes, won't you lose out on torque!

desertcolt07, May 15, 4:59pm
dunno, they wouldnt be that much shorter
