Hi Guys, my 17ACR has started to give me troubles, and its seaming to be a pain to find either a replacement or parts for them ( the rectifier and Regulator and brushes are gone I havnt tested the windings though ), so im wandering if there is any other suitable alternators around that may be an easy swap!

a 1977 Triumph 1500Tc :) , its the 4 wire regulator model ( not that it really matters )

yeah for a common 17acr, 179 bucks is a bit of a stretch , and then there is the problem of next to no money to work with haha

Choice, do you know if its working properly! and what would you be asking for it! I had a Guy wanting to sell me one for 30, + shipping, but havnt heard from him for 2 days now , and its kinda urgent

Ask these guys (Stratford Electrical). I'm sure they can supply parts.
