Every now and then wont start without a jump, gel cell in battery glowing green az, power steering has gone hard on me a couple times at slow speeds as well as engine almost stalling and then revving when park manouvring.

Weak battery, have you got a multi meter handy! Measure the voltage across your battery while the car is running and off. A lot of auto electricians will kindly test your charging system for free.

What sort of coon! Ive got an el thats doing the almost stalling when ya button off accellerator and random revving when idling. Starts every time tho

Lol. Is the aternator belt the same one that runs the power steering! if the belts gone west hat will explains your problem

Check the obvious, is all belts there! Look at the pulleys! Check voltage, load test battery
