last race I drove on silverstone FTZ type RR 185/55r14 and found them excellent. Didnt get any understeer in the pulsar and I ran out of brakes before I ran out of grip surprisingly.
They are DOT rated so can be driven to the track which is a benefit if that is applicable to you. They are around $200 a tyre

evo 3 rs they are for and 16 inch rims.and more for sprints ,hill climbs street sprints dont want to have to get another set for wet cond
If you have a means of getting tyres upto temp and pressure I would recommend toyo r888 tyres.
Doing hill climbs etc you may find it hard to find a decent tyre that will give great traction at cold and hot temps and differing pressures.
The r888 work quite well in the wet from my experience.

R888s work very well from cold, they're designed as a road legal tarmac rally tyre, so they need to work from cold. They are very good in the wet and dry, although I'm now running some Dunlop CR311s which are excellent wet and dry as well. Hard to get in NZ though, I have to order mine in from the UK myself.

We have ran Dunlop DZ03G's on 4 different tarmac Rally cars (both 4WD & RWD) and still swear by them.
