Kia is huge over there, large dealerships every where. I was surprised.

What do you expect from a country that still makes a 400+hp Sports car with a Live Axle rear suspension.
aka the 2012 Ford Mustang

Ford actually went to the Mustang enthusiasts and asked them what they wanted, and a live rear axle was what won the vote. But you obviously didn't know that before jumping in boot first.

Where did you go J.C! we just spent 18 days there.L.A and vegas.pamona swap meet and backersfield hotrod reunion.one thing we did notice was the amount of closed up business's there.empty buildings etc.what an eye opener though Gav
Its actually quite clever and well done and certainly targets one generation I think, But hopefully they slow down a bit as overkill puts you off.

All that proves is the lack of brain power of mustang enthusiasts.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Ford made the decision to go to a live rear axle simply based on cost. For some strange reason the said it would cost an extra $5,000 USD to fit independent rear end to the Mustang. All the Mustang Clubs that I know in the States are screaming to get the latest technology.
