Did anyone else buy a Tomtom in December / January! They came with a voucher - then you had to either scandetails of your purchase and email or down load a form, fill in and post away. I did the latter but haven't heard anything yet.

i got a tomtom1 dont see any point in new maps they are never up to date . i also got a garmin where you get free maps every 14 days by a nz community groupe.

yea i got both my garmin is actuarly my smart-phone that is made by garmin asus. here the maps if anyone reads this and has garmin easy as to use just unzip to sd card in to folder with the name garmin thats it. http://nzopengps.org/ as for tomtom it takes its time. my mate from waipu has a tomtom and got it sold with euro map upgrade and then turned out it was not possibile to add euro maps so he got 3 free tomtom updates and told me i can have a free upgrade of his. Ps he had to ring them. its not the best custommer service it seems at tomtom.

Ok, I'll give them a buzz next week - no Tomtom in NZ, I've been told the 0800 number goes directly to Australia. My model is the one with live traffic updates which are free for a year - don't know how much to renew that service - will wait for the rest of 2011 and decide then! Cheers intrade.
