they're trying a different format for racing this weekend with the drags on saturday instead of sunday. qualifying starts at 3 pm today & expecting the racing to finish about 9-10 pm tonite. they're racing 1/8 mile only, just like a lot of USA tracks & being night time for the finals you should see plenty of flames coming from the open header exhausts. give speedway the flick tonite & come watch some REAL horsepower.

silly buggers with that car had their remote oil filter plumbed back to front & the filter came undone spewing oil everywhere. they think they've run some bearings, hopefully thats all & they'll be running at the Nationals in a few weeks. got anymore pics!

Sorry if the above message is a bit abrupt, but that excuse belongs belongs in the race drivers excuse book.
did they give you a reason why the oil undid the filter!

that WAS their excuse. i run the same HP6 filter but i use the FRAM mount & these guys use the Milodon mount. i'm not convinced they're correct but i did see them tighten the living sh!t out of their filter only to see it leaking badly later in the night. they tried to tell me their pump had burst the filter but those filters have something like a 400psi burst pressure so i doubt that. they also have their accumulator plumbed into the dirty oil side of the filter mount. i think them boys need to sit down & have a good look at what they've bought & check things properly. as i keep telling people, " just because it was built it America, it don't mean they're experts"
