sorry I could have put that more politely.
The last falconi bought was a 1998 model which I paid $4000 for.
It's one of the more reliable vehicles I have owned.
You will have no problem buying a very reliable Falcon for under $6000.
For some reason they are cheap which makes them great buying and yes you can buy them for under 6000 and have them fly through for a wof every time. Except for the obvious when needed, new tyres etc.

those have great styling, except they need to make a 3 door version

having a car that small have 4 doors is just rediculous

thought you said no jap imports!

stretchedart, Jan 12, 1:25pm
yes there is one that says " japanese car of the year" althou it doesnt say it was imported.questions i need to ask.

The thing about jap imports is that.i have been told that cars in japan sit in lots of traffic jams. So for eg.a car thats done 70k on the mileometre has actually doubled that with the engine running while not actually getting anywhere.does this may sense!

personally I think if you are going to start thinking like that, getting to fussy, you'll do your head in look at all the possible variables.
Just find what you want, obviously the lower K's the better.
Do your home work to make sure they are not problem vehicle (ask in here how reliable) Then get it properly checked out before buying.
I think its about the best you can do.
The first car I would count out.
Havent heard great things about the Honda 4x4. thirsty, not good off road, etc. friend had one and ditched it pretty quickly.

Your quite right Friendly.its already doing my head in :-)
So many cars and too many questions. Just had to much bad luck with 2 cars. Wish i had to money for a new one!

buy a Mazda, i seem to get great use without the expense on all the Mazdas i've had. even the cheapo AZ3 i bought my daughter a year ago hasn't needed any mechanical repairs. i told the receptionist at work to buy one too & a year later she's still happy with the Atenza Madza 6 she bought. i have to admit years ago i wouldn't touch a Mazda but they've been pretty reliable. just like any car, make sure they've been serviced regularly before you buy.

mazdas have been good for years and years.the 80's ones werent very exciting but they were reliable.all the 4 cyl mazdas of the 90s were reliable.i don't know why people hate on them.
