Back in the early '70's, I had a P410, and fitted a BMC 'B' series from an Austin A60.
Despite rumours, the BMC head did NOT drop straight on the P410 block, the engine mounts were on different angles, and I used the A60 floorchange box, but had to build a new trans crossmember.
It absolutely transformed the wee beast.
The P411 was an adaptation of the "B" series motor, but the engineering internally was far superior.
I would not recommend the use of an "A"series motor,
I would suggest you source a later-model, pushrod Datsun engine, preferably with gearbox, and adapt that.
Good luck with your project, they are an unusual wee car.
