Just a moan to let off steam. Yesterday went to my secure yard lock up and found my Chev pickup had the quarter window smashed, bent window frame and snapped screw driver off in ignition trying to start the beast. They pinched the radio faceplate but left a socket set behind. Have a $300 excess to pay because of these #@*'s.Just makes me bloody mad! They cut through the fence and attacked four boats cutting their covers, but other than my radio face plate nothing taken. Makes me mad I work hard for my money. Anyway enough said.

I must be unlucky. My caravan was broken into the other night following the truck incident. They smashed a window and turned it over. It was in the same commercial secure storage yard also. I am spitting tacks about this. If I catch them they will find out how mad I am about this. I need my truck repaired to even move the van to another safer (I hope) venue and this will be a few days yet. Window frame has to come from US. You take every precaution, and still get ripped off.

Makes me mad too. Some low life broke onto my step daughter's car when it was parked in the drive (15 year olds.) but it wasn't the (cheap) radio they stole that was the major issue, it was the fact they stuffed up the dash and the air con controls.
Nothing is 100% safeand wire fences don't seem to deter anyone. Three of our race series guys have had trailers stolen - one from a locked, wire fenced Hamilton compound.
My sympathies Howie. We need to jail the scum on first offence, not even three strikes. Maybe even contract out the policing and justice to the Singaporeans.Ten lashes of the rattan cane beats probation/warnings/suspended sentences.

some just have nothing better to do, we had 14 cars broken into outside work one night, stuffed the passenger lock on every car, smashed the window on 2 and turned everything upside down, all that went missing was a torch from one (which ended up in another car) and an owners manual for a honda civic, idiots

Maybe it's some sort of gang initiation and new members must prove their bravery by breaking into cars.

Well I guess from there point of view rules are rules, assuming thats the case I haven't being following this thread since my first comment. If it was extremely foul language it should be moderated. It is their job to moderate the boards lol.

I also frequent (or at least read) the macgors speedway website discussion boards and the amount of guys getting trailers pinched lately is astounding and thats just the speedway fraternity, i make sure my car trailer is well locked up with a wheel clamp and towball lock as well. there are certainly a lot of scumbags out there at the moment.

Yeah! maybe I should've typed f**k'n or f$#'n or maybe even phuk'n other than fcuk'n since TM is so much more in the public eye than television or radio.yep they've got a job but I don't think they know what it is.
