Petrol works possibly the best, I tried heaps of different products and petrol was still the best, I went into a sign writers not so long ago and petrol was what they were using to remove old grapics also, they said the same.petrol is the best, just don't know how they would get on if OSH showed up!

thats some expensive sticker removal lol . we use ados solvent which probably isn't any cheaper

Its safe on clearcoat. It can be used on most surfaces with out any problems. It may be citrus based from memory.

Yes, Desolv-it is citrus based and can be used on most surfaces safely. Ados solvent-N - ~$15 per litre so petrol is definitely cheaper than that! Meths is good too, should take any adhesive residue off and won't damage your paint.

Wax & Grease remover from Supercheap was good.

I remove stickers quite a lot and found CRC Peel Off Label Remover to be the best. Better than DeSolvit.
I wouldn't bother with anything else.

I use WD40. Spray it on, wait a few minutes to work it's magic.

AKA prepsol. All I ever used and I used it a lot.

Took some off only last Fri, using "Wax & Grease" to get the glue off.
Doubled over a soaked rag and lay it over the glue, then dribbled some more W&G over the rag, and 'walked away' Came back after about 5 minutes, moved the rag along to repeat the process, and scraped the crap off with a plastic spatchula. A final clean off with a fresh rag, and it's all good.

Petrol.

I have found that petrol does soften the glue but wont remove it while diesel will take that sticky backing off your panels.
