Did you you know Lance Bain,
http://wonderfulnow.blogspot.com/2011/12/probe-no-further-methamphetamine.html
I recently bought his MK2 GT cortina and he was desperate for the payment to go into the bank by the time I cashed up a small investment which was a couple of days he was hanging out.

read that article and im kinda disgusted that the writer immediately pinsit on him taking Meth! thats a ignorant and idiotic move for that writer, and NOT a well informed guess, He could have been quite easily been going through depression, as i KNOW for a fact that depression can effect you Just as the writer pinned the "meth" signs on him. Just disgusting that a person can assume soo much with out a coroners report

Here you go this may be a little closer to the truth, but it isnt often that I buy a classic from a private collection and the former owner gets killed by a partner, or whatever you may call her.

I have just put the Herald copy of that news item on my blog.

It is not rocket science to recognise the destruction that methamphetamine causes to every life it touches.

To attempt to blame it on depression is just silly.

Lives are being destroyed by that drug every single day. Children are losing parents and parents are losing children.

I am sure that wherever Lance is now - he would rather have his demise be a warning to others than have silly excuses made for him.

It is methamphetamine that is evil - not the people that succumb to it.

Very true I talked to Lance few times on the phone when I was buying the cortina he seemed a nice guy but very desperate for the money, he even wanted first dibs on the car if I decided to sell it.

The path that drug took him on is familiar to every single person who has ever touched it. The story is always the same - it is just the faces that are different. Some people, like Lance having further to fall than others but the end result is always the same - and always so sad.

I did not write that blog post to poke sticks at a person who is no longer with us. I wrote it in the hope it could be a warning to others - as i do every single time i see stories like this in the media.

I am sure that he was a very nice guy. Meth steals souls though.
