Chevy Crank journals

Ok had a look on Google but man there is a lot of conflicting info from site to site.
What i would like to find out is what is the difference between large and small journals on a 350 crank, No id on the engine so dont know what year it is. Rod journals measure a tad under 2.100" and mains a smidgen under 2.500" so are they big or small journals!, have to take it in to get a polish so i suppose the engine shop could tell me. Got an engine in parts and didnt have any bearings so was curious what the difference was and obviously needs to be measured so i get the right shells.

Um.in my experience the only journal difference was with the 327s
i thought the 350s all had the same sizes!
Not often im wrong.but i could be lol

/\./\./\ As above, only the 327 came with large and small journal cranks, 350's were all large journal.

Ok so they have the large journals, great, wonderful, thanks. Now do you know what the standard sizes were on these were they 2.100 and 2.500 for rod and mains!. the crank i have here the rod journal measures 2.100" and the main measure 2.443", so would the rods bearings be standard and the mains + 0.030"!, sorry to be a pain guys, thinking cap is long overdue for a rest
