The whole thing looks dodgy to me. Surely any liquidator would market the collection worldwide first, chase up likely Swedish benefactors second & only then, offer to split up the collection.

Reading the article I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a tinge of "national pride" behind not being too loud about it and wanting to keep it local.
Either that or they don't know how much money they're sitting on. A lot of those cars would be worth a fk load.
