think ive blown my transmission in my 97 legacy gt. How much roughly to fix and is it alot more expensive to convert it to manaul or should i get rid of it and sell it as is will attach a pic of the car

On the first Legacys it was possible to convert from auto to manual, but not the later '90s ones like yours.A '97 GT is a nice car, it might be worth fixing it.I blew the manual gearbox in my '93 Legacy and it cost $1,600 for a replacement 'box installed.

Because the 4WD system is very different in the manual compared to the auto.
