Wow, I cannot fathom the arrogant, patronising, self opinionated, argumentative, holier-than-thou, prick that cop Dean is! Last week he's got the same attitude. When a driver tries to explain why they were doing, he says, "You parked in a bus stop, your car exhaust is too loud, your car is too low and you've got an attitude mate". WTF, he needs to review the footage and look in the mirror first. Total lack of professional conduct displayed towards the general public IMO. Jeezus, would hate to encounter him when next in Aussie.

The majority of the cops on there seem to be complete jerk-offs, whether or not you compare them to NZ police. I absolutely could not believe my eyes and ears when I first saw the program! Thank goodness most NZ cops aren't that bad; we would have ten times the problems and absolutely no respect for them if they acted like their aussie mates!

Please explain a bit vague.

They are fantastic. Look at some of the tossers they pull over. That one last night just doesn't learn so what would you really expect. If anything out cops are a bit soft here at times. If you keep your vehical up to standard and drive within the rules then there is never a problem. Not saying that i'm better than every one else but if you do the crime then be prepared t meet the concequences. And as for the young dude he pulled up last wek in the bus pull over, i thnk that young fulla got a pretty good deal at the end of the day. He could have given him heaps more fines, points and problems.

Never mind that the guy was actually parked in a bus stop with a too loudexhaust in a too low car, and had a shit attitude. Why was the cop wrong to point this out! They're not paid to be polite.

I have to totally agree. I strongly believe in "You can't demand respect, you have to earn it" and it doesn't stop at person 1, it goes with every single person, every single situation.

I also noted how the NZ Police have changed after watching 1999 Motorway Patrol reruns on CI. Whether thats because of new laws or whatever else, I don't know.

i agree the Aussie cops seem far more reasonable than ours.

Did you notice how all those that were pulled over, (except the lady in the Mazda) were driving Falcons.
