when putting a new one( not starndard) in what else do i need to replace! eg rockers/ oil rail! im not sure

This in your 2L! I just rebuilt my mates engine and couldn't get a new oil rail so just acid cleaned it at work and blew it clean with air. And with the rockers it really depends. His we're worn so we replaced them. But it depends how bad the wear line is across the pad.

Who ground it! Kelfords! What's the lift specs etc! I just got my cam back from getting the lobes profiled.

Oh ok. Have you not got the cam yet! Ring Auckland cams and ask if they can get new rockers. Always recommended to replace them, but if on a budget and your old ones arent too bad, your could reuse them.

oh yeh they have already given me prices on new rockers, just wondered if i needed it, might as well if its recomended, also peice of mind for myself newer parts= less worn

One thing though. Make sure you get some decent cam lube, and run the cam in properly. No idling and no high revs etc. varying the revs between 2-3 k for 30mins
