if ute has trailing arms and coil springs as in VN cars, yes vn/vp /vs sedan and s/w (non IRS )will fit.diff centers are interchangable but you will need to shim to suit.only difference is the shock mounts

Do the utes have different ratios on the VN/P compared with the sedan or wagons! Or is everything 3.08:1!

3.08 in all utes, sedans, wagons unless later model (VT on) 6spd OR rare VP200 Clubsport which has 3.27 gears. VX 6spd is 3.46 as they have a slightly larger gearset. 3.45 ratio is from the VL. A sedan diff will NOT fit a wagon or ute. the shock mounts are in a different place. Also VR/S is a tad wider. You will need a VN/P wagon or ute diff to fit yours.
