I woujldn't fit fusion in my car if someone paid me.
'nuff said.

andrea_w, Jun 29, 9:26am
Something with err, quality. But thats just me. I like quality, not noise.
A sub and amp 'that comes with everything' (wiring kit, sub box etc!) for a cost of $225. well, you get what you pay for.

OP : what stereo do you currently have!

deanfreeman, Jun 29, 10:54am
its a 50x4 panasonic paid 65 buks for it pawn shop . lol or might just get double horns instead

andrea_w, Jun 29, 10:58am
OP : what do YOU want out of a sub!
If you just want noise, that sub/amp will be fine.
If you want any form of quality, don't bother. Your stereo is a hindrance to quality sound too.

That Lomu stuff was more about good marketing than good quality. We did work on the Lomu Patrol and PT Cruiser after they both got broken in to. That Patrol was one very heavy and very loud car :o

Fusion power plant amps are ok. I have one matched up to a clarion 12 inch sub for a little low bass. Works and sounds nice

antwerp87, Jun 29, 2:13pm
I went pioneer with just about everything a few years back 60 by 4 head unit there carbon fibre 6 by 9s set of components for the front a lanzar 1000w amp and 500w pioneer sub. It did the job quite nicely. Sounded good in the accord and then in my brothers legnum when I went to australia

kennygirl, Jun 29, 2:21pm
i went and brought a brand new fusion 12 inch sub ndamp cost me 400 all up includn the sub box and wiring got my mate to hook it all up and the amp was faulty straight out of the box i still gt the sub and wirin nd box which work mint as jst the fusion amps r shit

jason18, Jun 29, 7:02pm
I have had many fusion amps. Maybe you got a dud one.

spead, Jun 29, 8:19pm
dont bother with either. expect tickets if you do

andrea_w, Jun 29, 8:24pm
Care to elaborate how an upgraded audio system and an air horn will net you a ticket!

gilligan2, Jun 29, 8:34pm
Nope 600 is cheap enough given I paid 800 for the head unit late last year. It was in my car for about a month until i sold the car and packed all my stuff away in a shed.

gilligan2, Jun 29, 8:35pm
Believe it or not you can get a ticket for having a stereo that the officer deems to be too loud.

andrea_w, Aug 12, 9:42pm
I'm aware of that :)
I just can't see how if you fit an aftermarket audio system and horns you can EXPECT fines.
By that posters logic, don't buy a car cos if you do. EXPECT a speeding ticket.
