I was in a bad mood earlier on today & went for a ride on my new(to me) bike.
Now I'm much happier & the world is a better place.
Thank you God for the wheel, X2.

ohh so true . i went 4 a thrash an mine today aswell

berg, Jun 27, 4:41pm
A few out on bikes today in Wgtn even though the weather was krapolla. Keener than me.

the_chooky, Jun 27, 4:48pm
Yer should be careful on ya bike if your in a bad mood.
But bikes are good fun. I had mine up to xxx kph today.
Ooops better be careful, the speed nazi's might be here.

ninja_man, Jun 27, 5:04pm
yeap, i nice long ride relieves a fair bit of stress!

berg, Jun 27, 5:06pm
Got the "Z" out for a ride on Friday before the weather dumped its guts. Doesn't have to be fast for me to enjoy myself. Prefer to just "kick back" and cruise these days.

gunhand, Jun 27, 5:11pm
I started mine and let it run for abit, doe's that count.

berg, Jun 27, 5:14pm
Na, lol, get out there and ride.

jmma, Jun 27, 5:18pm
I did that with my GB400tt, guess I should get out there and ride it too, but no wof and rego on hold, oh well.

gunhand, Jun 27, 5:22pm
But it was coooolllllld today, like freezing and wet and just awfull, im not as brave as I once was lol.

jono450, Jun 27, 5:24pm
hahah yeh sounds like the fire would of been a better place to be sitting than the bike

berg, Jun 27, 5:25pm
LOL. My excuse today was "working". One of the bonuses of breaking my neck last year, I no longer feel the cold when on the bike. Just got to be careful I don't get too cold without realising. Nice looking bike in the profile pic. Is that your current toy!

jono450, Jun 27, 5:27pm
it was an awsome day up here in the waikatolots of bikes out . wewent from hamilton to tga to rotorua back to hamilton minta

gunhand, Jun 27, 5:28pm
Na had 3 bikes since that one, AZX14 after the Busa then due to reduntancy it had to go and I then had a fz1000 which hurt to ride to far so I swapped it for a gsx1100f.

dr.doolittle, Jun 27, 5:29pm
Bobber!
I'm loving that look lately & am kind of bobberising my v-star 650.

berg, Jun 27, 5:32pm
All nice bikes but I agree, the FZ would have not been pleasant on long hauls. Been ogling the new Z1000SX with ABS and all the nice add on bits. Just have to convince Mrs Berg that she should be riding my Z750.

jono450, Jun 27, 5:36pm
was acustom 1200 sporty stripped it rite down to the frame then put my own touch to it . yeh i tried to get the old scool look i think i achived it and now when i pull up to a meet i know ther will be no other bike the same as mine . t

Yes stunning looking bikes, and just 22k ish

berg, Jun 27, 5:43pm
They are even available for $20K ish with a bit of hunting around. A lot of bike for the money. Looked at the new 2011 GSR750 last weekend and was shocked at the price. Only $14,495 on road. Thats bloody cheap for a fairly trick 750 4cylinder

gunhand, Jun 27, 5:45pm
Your right, not a bad looking bike for 14500k

dr.doolittle, Jun 27, 5:51pm
I've made-up a seat out of alloy checker plate. It's my first attempt & I shaped it up with a wooden mallet & mounted it on V8 valve springs. Because the bike already has that hard tail look(it's a mono shock), I kind of think it works & it's surprisingly comfortable.
I think I'll call my bike "Hard ass", either that or "Tight arse"(note the spelling)

berg, Jun 27, 5:56pm
Oooooo, checker plate seat. Maybe call it "sore ass" lol

jono450, Jun 27, 5:57pm
haha yeh would suit it . it would be good to c it finished

trogedon, Jun 27, 7:31pm
I dare not even look at one of the 100 pieces of my bike in the back of the garage but agree, a good ride clears the head and sharpens the senses. Doing it on my bicycle gives me exercise too.

trogedon, Jun 28, 3:09pm
But hey it??
