If you don't like the prices, move. USA is always going to be cheaper due to volume buying

Stick to fixing cars intrade. Ever tried growing tomatoes in the middle of winter !
The glasshouses are heated 24/7 in winter, some even use artificial lighting.

New cars are cheaper in america because they have low-cost throw-away cars to compete with.
Also, a lot of them get paid less than $10/hr, so compared to an average persons yearly earnings they are probably pretty well in line.

The American Passat is a completely different car to the version we get. It is made in America for a cheaper market. It cant be compared to the european version at all. It may look very similiar but is made of cheaper materials and to lower spec. From memory i think it is $7000US cheaper than the old model Passat.
