So i can get my full in 3 months assuming i do defensive driving. I am 16 and have been done for breaching my licence conditions which i got 25 demerits and $100 fine for. Is it true that of August the 1st you cannot apply for your full if you have any previous traffic convitions! and you have to wait until your 18 years old.

My mate was driving drunk from a party, I pulled in front of him slowed him down made him get out of the car and i drove him home sober. Got pulled and cop understood situation but still said hes just doing his job and had to fine me. can i still get my full!

Depends on your actual situation. In 3 months time we'll be after 1 August, so the new rules will apply. The new rules are minimum ages for the various stages, so it will depend how old you are at the time. As mentioned above, best idea is to call NZTA as they will be able to check all the relevant licence details (dates, age etc).

you should try get off the fine first. then you wont have to worry boutnot being able to get your licence because of a fine.
I cant see how getting an infringement would stop you progressing thru license stages. Seems counter-intuitive to the whole process.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
