holding the deck on to my ute.Any way I'm gonna get'em off without gas or cutting anything!

lots of penetrating oil like PB blaster overnight soaking, give it a go. Then try some heat and if still a no go keep the heat on till it moves and it'll either go free or pick up the thread but if it's that tight it's that tight.

Assumes you aren't gunna set nearby things on fire.

's what I was thinking. The scrappers 30km up the road got a good cheap replacement deck for me and I was wanting to get it loosed up and easy to get off before I took it up there so they don't gotta f*ck around too much and therefore charge me more.So I guess if I canbreak the bolts and hammer'em out and put good ones in, all good. But if I gotta cut the deck off, no way I can drive it 30km safely. (He want the old deck to get the good one cheap)

Hammer and if that fails get a bigger hammer

You'll need heat. No two ways about it.

This would be a great test for some of that "nutcracker" stuff from powerup. I would be keen to hear if it worked in this "extreme test", have been thinking of getting some myself!

I wonder if it is the same as Loctite Freeze and Release which you spray on and it makes the nut and bolt really cold so they shrink away from each other and the lubricant can get in.Its about $25 a can so I don't want to try it unless I know it will work.
