I seldom come here lately, and when I do I want to jump down a few peoples throats for being right twats.
Sure, there are great posters here with years of wisdom and knowledge, but some twats just need a smack in the head.
Some people I feel (IMHO) are just here to shit-stir and that's it.
What's your opinion!

+1 The helpfull advice has been burried by idiots who spend far too much time attacking each other. If a poster is being an idiot just ignore him, don't get into a slanging match.I'm picking if we ignore the idiots they will loose interest as they wont be the focus of attention and with luck the idiots will just go away. How about we all try that approach for a few days and see what happens!

i'll just put it this way_ this board appears to be _underscoring.

I tend not to speak out, but it has really pissed me off so I'm rather glad that I'm not the only one to see it!
Welcome back Andrea! Wondered where you went. although wasn't hard to guess. :P

I used to comment (or ask advice) on here often but now it usually isnt worth it due to pettiness & those with only half a clue trying to speak from on high.

Perhaps trademe should start a catagory for "Motoring" and rename this one "Petty Arguements" Cheers Stevo

Yep. Tis why I don't come here as often. Plus I'm trying to cut down on time spent on the internet anyway.

It's generally getting pretty wide spread all over TM. Even seeing it in some auctions.

Not just you Jono, I feel the same. I have the motoring page as my homepage, but for the first time in a long time I am thinking of changing that, any good recommendations!

Thats what happens when you ban all the good helpful posters for the occasional cheeky outburst and leave the ones who do nothing but stir and cause the trouble in the first place. Things have now reached a tipping point.
I am pretty over it too, although I have to admit to winding up a troll in one thread of the last couple of days. Must try and avoid that.

www.nzcity.co.nz That makes for an excellent home page once you customise it and get rid of the stuff that doesn't interest you!

Good to know, I'm sure you would be missed if you did.

I post this with somewhat of a relevance to flat_whites post.
I have noted they've changed the MBs back to member only recently (yet to see the effects this may/may not have), what about changing access to those who have a few trades under there belt (I'm only talking 2 or 3) just makes certain they aren't here to troll.

I see a lot of merit in that. and even if those who get banned open a new acount it works in tms favour.
attitudedesignz,

I don't know what happened but it seems the board has got back on track regarding motoring. There are still the odd 'clowns' who talk crap but it's like a switch was flicked the other night and the whole place did a 180. May just be me but that's kinda what i saw/see.
