I reckon it will be electrically powered cars.
I reckon solar and universe power will be harnessed, before cars die from petrol and diesel exhaustion.

In the near future lighter more fuel efficient petrol cars weighing 500 to 600 kg. Ten to Twenty years or so, Electric topped up by Solar panels. grangies means tapping into free energy that is always around us & he is right. That will only happen when the oil barrens can??

Anti-gravity propulsion will be the future of transportation, being able to control gravity to push,pull or propel a craft or remove gravity altogether from the radius of a traveling craft making propulsion effortless therefore very,very fast as with objects in the outer space of earth.

Magnetic propulsion.Hop in your pod, enter GPS coordinates and off you go. You wont be able to "drive" the journey and speed will all be controlled by the on board computer and GPS!

i would say lets say the world is not gona end like in terminator movie we will be driving electric powerd vehicles . the future is likely going to invent much more powerfull solarcells and better batterys that can store 100 times the capacity of todays product. that is what i think will be the future.
My guess we will be running round in beat up V8 falcon coupswith switch driven blowers that run on dirty stale fuel sourced from upside down wrecks and collected in hubcaps.Just 100% my thoughts.OH, and eating dog food.
