Legnum, 2.5v6?

dasfi, Jun 18, 7:12pm
anyone know what these may cost to run!
Am aware its a v6 but just wondering if there not to bad or are they really thirsty for what they are!

antwerp87, Jun 18, 7:27pm
There pretty thirsty. Max my brother got out of a 60l tank was 500k
compared to a 4cyl of a similar size getting 650-700k to a 60l tank of the same era of that engine.

I have a VR-4 Legnum, which is similar to a 2.5 V6 except AWD and twin turbo. Very good car - I get about 10L/100km on the open road and 6L/100km around town, which isn't bad all things considered.

Yeah I get similar fuel economy out of my Legnum VR-4.Would suggest OP considers a vr-4 actually.

Thats bloody amazing. I seriously doubt it. More like 6ks per litre.

first of all you dont buy any mitsubishi next thing you never buy a v6 as all have head craking issues some more some less .And if you must buy a mitsubishi you would want to ask phillip weston or what ever his nick is what one is the least worst of all mitsis and most (gdi) are no good either just so you know

Yeah that is a typo for sure. maybe 16l/100km.Auto and tiptronic trans are very average.A few of my mates have owned them and just about all have had issues with the electrics too. There are better cars out there.

Used to get about 300km on a tank in my VR-4 round town. Best on a trip, maybe 50% more. Got from Queenstown to Chch on a tank once. Not in any way economical, but great fun.

i have had evo's, wrx's and skylines and the vr4 legnum i have at the moment is by far the most fun i have had driving. Get a EBC and seeeeeeeeeya

buyme3, Jun 19, 1:15pm
must a had some pretty terrible wrx evo skylines for a vr4 to be classed as better!

flybye_in_a_rx7, Jun 19, 7:44pm
very good car correct. fuel consumption WRONG lol. try around 20l/100k town running and a little better on the open road

I have a 2.5 v6 non gdi4wd and a tank takes about 50 litres and I push to get 400kms from a tank round town got 500 when I went to Dunedin. So no it isnt good but it does drive very nice.

We have one, its a pretty good car to drive. Bit heavy on gas though a tank of 95 octane gets us about 300-350kms around town
