Can someone point me in the right direction regarding this-
I'm taking my motorbike ('88 Honda CD250) in to get it complied to get it on the road, everything's fine except it has no mirrors. Now my question is, do i need 2 (left/right) or can i get away with just 1 on the right. It was sold NZ new but NEVER registered for road use, this has been confirmed by LTSA, NZ police and Honda NZ. Only things it needed was front park light bulb, 2 tyres and the afore mentioned mirror/s

Passed compliance with one mirror! I know you only have to have one for a WOF, but I would have thought two for compliance.

Yeah that's what i was thinking too. Bit of a prick if i have to have 2 tho', as soon as it's complied i want to put on some bar end mirrors so don't want to spend heaps on new mirrors only to take them back off again lol.

I got some mirrors for $20/pair from Cycletreads in the past (and htey had some for $11 for the scooter). Just get the cheapest things you can to put on. Can't you get it complianced with the bar end mirrors!
