they'll need a primer over the rust killer, make sure you deactivate the rustkiller if using the likes of por or the nitric/phosphoric acid ones
and a change in driving habits, lol, the 2 second rule often means the chips hit the ground not your bonnet ( yes I know all stone chips are NOT from following too close)

+1 The Eastwoods product of that name would be ideal. You can get it at www.restosupplies.co.nz.
Just dab a bit on straight over the rust but don't bring it right up to level with the existing paint if you can avoid it. Use a very fine artists brush for the dabbing.

Then just dab on some top coat to match your car. If you want to be really fussy it is possible to do a very careful wet sand with a small piece of 1500 grit on the end of something flat like a bent screwdriver etc. You just sand the blob of paint only until it comes down level. This is fiddly and slow though and for your application its probably not worth the effort.

Always overcoat eastwoods product even if the car happens to be the same colour as that rust encapsulator is not UV stable and will change colour etc.
