Young guy, SS comie lowered with exhaust. Passenger seat was removed for reupholstering in vinyl as was the roof lining making it look like a boy racer drag racing special, prime pickings for the woman cop.
So take a guess at how long it took and what it cost me. Winner gets a thumbs up icon with me quoting their post, a great prize indeed.

You got done under the boy race act 500 to 1000 in fines!

23 minutes. And $200 for operating an unsafe vehicle. Oh and a $30 fine for speeding 6-10kms over the speed limit

I don't visit those establishments, so I don't know what it costs to get pulled over. As for how long it took! That's entirely over to your will/can't-power.

seven hours in the cells and made to squat in front of the cop with the glove. A court date later on in the week for the o of skunkies.

Lowered with a shitty loud exhaust, young guy, nope not a boy racer, what are the chances, why didnt you do a runner, like the time you did in the telstar with a trailer on the back, remember! you got away, haaaaaaaaa lol he he he. FOS

No V8 holden could match the power and speed of a 2.0 pink telstar towing a trailer. Plus that telstar was manual, everyone knows manuals are faster in every aspect than a big motor behind an automatic ;)
It took 4 minutes and cost me zero dollars, new seat and suede headliner is ready to go in tonight, sewed/made the seat coverings myself. I think i did a nice job for a first time at doing a seat cover, take a look.
Bloody messy workshop doesnt the woman do any work

good workers don't have a clean workshop - they're too busy working to clean up too - and how dare you suggest letting the wimmen into the workspace with cleaning on her mind lol

Not bad, now i know who to annoy if i want something done on the cheap for seats and stuff :P

See that was the thing the quotes to recover an interior are huge from a pro, even at mates rates with an upholsterer I know. He does nice work but no way I can shell out that kinda cash on an old VN SS.
Still got the other seat and the back to go :/

Good attempt Polly. next time glue the vinyl to some 10mm backed foam, and invest in a heat gun. Good on you though, good to see somone giving it a go.

hence why i know that ur able to do it hahah, Iv done small things liek recovering windscreen visors and seat rips, but not a full recover, and im not really keen on that idea either, not that my seats currently need it, im selling the yellow submarine as it is anyways
year, but try gluing the vinyl to the foam, then unpick the old cover and trace around it.( sorry just realized you prob dont have a machine to sew something that thick though). as you were man. great work.

Nah I only had a little machine you would do socks on, no walking foot and a gutless motor. Made things less than easy.
