i have just put RE001's on my Gtr and they seem good so far-only been a couple of months on though & doesn't do alot of milage but happy so far -plus P7's might be dearer -your choice really

Finally someone who appreciates good rubber, instead of what's the cheapest. I know the RE001s are good, can't really comment on the Pirellis, they have different grades of tyres depending on $$$, like everyone else.

I have 245/45R17 on my FG XR6, bit noisy, but a much better tyre than the Dunlop sport max that they replaced.

Check out Toyo tyres too(unless you already have). Had a mint set on my old gtb, good wearing and lots of grip.
