Nology Silvers? Anyone using them?

debulebule, May 19, 6:31pm
Ordered them last week and they arrived today. WIll be putting them in tomorrow. Any using them at the moment! I'll be back to report whether spark plugs made of silver are all they cracked up to be ;)

Heres a link: http://www.nology.com/silver.html

I've read mixed reviews so thought i'd find out myself!

Nope, but would be interested to see how they perform.
Going by that sites chart, you may as well just buy copper plugs if using in an engine where they are easy to access.
Thats how I read it anyway.

Let us know how you get on, never used them. I always stick to known trusted brands. NGK never let me down and they are even used in aircraft.

No but I am running a set of Nology Hotwires.

Snake oil.hope you didn't pay too much.

Sure didn't ;)

Cool. Cause when you say 'mixed reviews' in your original post, I assume you really mean 'not a shred of evidence that they work better than traditional leads and may in fact be worse'.

debulebule, May 20, 10:04am
Considering spark plarks aren't leads, you should stop talking. But anyway. Just put them in, it's idling a little smoother. But the old plugs were pretty fouled up. Took it for a little blat, and its running smoothly.

smac, May 20, 11:31am
OK I mentioned leads in error not plugs cause that's what Nology are known more for. Doesn't change the facts.

debulebule, May 20, 3:14pm
Alrighty mate. Anyway. After having a little bit more of a drive around, it does have a slight kick. But nothing Iridium's wouldn't fix either. The old spark plugs were bog standard NGK's. Considering i didn't pay for them I'm not to worried and will leave them in for a bit to give them a fair chance. Hope this debunks the myth/curiousness towards the plugs for a few of you.

Cheers!

Fitted a Nology lead to my DRZ400 and it DID make a difference. Starts really well, choke gets pushed in much earlier, revs quicker. Was pretty surprised really.
