Greetings all. I have recently aquired one of these engines. There seems to be relatively little information on the net about them. Does any one here have specifications / technical information, annecdotes, fish stories, manuals or any other background on these beasts! Any illuminating information appreciated.
what is it! 16 hundred or 2 liter diesel are ford fiesta escort diesel engines. ones i talk i cant recall em being called watermota , just ."Ford seapanther"

if you need the full manual i could potentially make you a copy for the XLD 416 engine that is a 2.0 and it is the same as the 1.6 diesel fords fitted to fiesta and escorts but larger cc and marinised . i wont be here i go to taupo truck racing and wont be back a few weeks .

just looked in manual its 1,6 diesel 100% the fiesta escort diesel if it is the xld 416

i am back now if you need any info. If the motor looks like the escort diesel then its because it is that same engine as on the car.
