Fair enough?. I reckon what else could they ask for

sifty, May 28, 9:44am
I reckon. what else could they ask for!

ginga4lyfe, May 28, 9:46am
more than fair, you can still make money off the car afterwards by wrecking it and parting it out

extrayda, May 28, 11:20am
If I was the purchaser, I would have been unhappy that it died, but very happy with that result from the dealer (and relieved). On that basis would be comfortable buying another car from that dealer.
Are they expecting the dealer to pay for repairs that are worth more than the car!

johnf_456, May 28, 11:26am
More than generous.

elect70, May 28, 11:37am
There was a fairyliving in the garden called nuff-fairy nuff.I just had tosay that

jerichord, May 28, 12:41pm
you have done all you can, well done, my faith in dealers is looking good, cheers to you

cocabowla, May 28, 12:42pm
my oath it is, i wouldnt expect anything less.

jason18, May 28, 12:54pm
What a bloody good dealer I say

alexsmelex18, May 28, 1:16pm
That is an exceptional outcome. Did it happen!

cjohnw, May 28, 1:33pm
Why are you asking this question!

You need to elaborate a bit further.

dr.doolittle, May 28, 1:36pm
Hardly fair!
They should have got a FULL refund, the car repaired at no cost to them and got to keep it together with a $3k sweetener or they'd go to Fair Go.
Now they only have to go through all that stress of buying a car again.

What did they take!

johnf_456, May 28, 1:38pm
Nothing wrong with asking for others view point.

trouser, May 28, 3:53pm
From what I've seen lately I wouldn't worry about Fair Go. That program has turned to rubbish.

i-n-horz, May 28, 6:28pm
Sh!t.I wouldn't complain and would most likely buy the next wagon off the same dealer due to their outstanding fairness.

illusion_, May 28, 9:33pm
Sounds like a very good honest dealer (I wonder who that might be, lol)

So . tell us what the customer is bitchin about

doomy999, May 28, 9:37pm
i would be singing your praises to the world.

thejazzpianoma, May 28, 9:40pm
I thought you decided on no more Rovers!

carmedic, May 28, 9:53pm
Must have had a K-series after all Jaz!

carmedic, May 28, 9:55pm
On the surface it sounds very fair??

doug207, May 29, 7:38am
Pre purchase inspection sh9ould have been better in that case Carmedic.

I'd be very happy to deal with whoever this elusive dealer is.

ferrit47, May 29, 11:26am
Not your fault as it was sold in Good faith & No noise at time. It developed after you sold it to them.

bigfatmat1, Apr 14, 9:08pm
I would want it fixed. 7 days the symptoms or signs should of been there. I am not targeting you directly . I often see symptoms that have been masked by dealers
I also realize problems do just happen. Not given all details its hard to speculate.
However it would seem more benificial to the dealer to take the car and give the money back. Is that the correct way surely the law would say it should be fixed.
