Is there an easier way to get this! The system at the moment is not only expensive but hard. Does anyone know of a cheap place to get the right certs etc at a reasonable cost!

License to carry more than 12 passengers you need a passenger license (drive a bus or 15 seater maxi taxi.

You need a P endorsement if you drive a small or large passenger service vehicle where passengers are carried for hire or reward. Sorry that was where I went wrong. I always thought it ment you also needed one to carry 15 or more people. (as well as to drive a taxi etc) I sincerely apologize.

You are right on both counts, you need a Passenger endorsement IF: You are driving a passenger service vehicle for hire or reward, OR if you are driving a vehicle with seats for more than 12 passengers.

yes its expensive and no you cant cut corners trying to do it on the cheap, when you go for it get your licence for 5 years not one year, because in the long run its a little less expensive, my hubby did his in January and our Local AA was totally hopeless at giving the correct info on what order to sit all the tests.A total pain in the .
